Where are CTRL Studios located in London?

We operate three London studios: Old Street (City Road, N1) for founders and the City; Clapton (the Tram Depot, E5) for Hackney creators; and Stratford (E15) for East London and Westfield.

Which podcast studio is closest to me?

Pick by line: the Northern line puts you at Old Street. The Overground or Victoria line via Seven Sisters puts you at Clapton. Elizabeth line, Jubilee, Central, Overground, or DLR all land directly at Stratford.

Can I book a podcast studio by the hour?

Yes. Fixed recording tiers can be booked online by the hour, with standard weekday slots from 09:00-18:00 and additional production time planned around each session. Later bookings, Saturdays and last-minute sessions are handled by enquiry.

What equipment is included?

Every session includes broadcast microphones, acoustic treatment, engineer-led setup and the technical workflow needed for the selected service. Video sessions can include 4K cameras, lighting, remote guest support, teleprompter and LED wall planning where required.

Do you offer podcast editing and post-production?

Yes. Standard Recording + Edit adds a £300 episode edit to the £200/hr video and audio recording rate. Advanced Recording + Edit adds the episode edit plus a £300 reels and trailer package with captions and branding.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Absolutely. We will try to accommodate all of your needs; just give us a call to discuss.

What is the cancellation policy?

There is no charge with 48 hours notice. Under 48 hours, 50% of the session fee is retained because staffing, setup and production time have already been allocated.

Do you support live streaming?

Yes. Live podcast streaming is scoped by enquiry and starts from around £1,200/session depending on platform, crew, setup, production requirements and session length.

Can remote guests join my podcast?

Yes. Remote guest recording is included in Basic Recording Service Tier 2 and can be supported with Riverside, Descript, SquadCast or Zoom depending on the production.

Is there parking at the studios?

Parking availability varies by site. Stratford and Clapton have nearby public parking; Old Street is easiest by Tube. Full details are on each studio page.
